• Editor sử dụng TinyMCE cũng đã được thêm vào, đảm bảo tính năng WYSIWYG. Có thêm chức năng Preview theo đúng nghĩa. Đáng tiếc một điều là cái editor này không sử dụng được với Opera, chỉ dùng với Firefox, IE và một số các trình duyệt khác. Nếu bạn không quen thì tắt nó đi là xong.
• Admin Panel có sử dụng AJAX, với khả năng kéo-thả các module, tiện cho việc sắp xếp lại editor.
• Mục Manage Comments cũng được bổ sung tính năng này, khiến trang web load nhanh hơn nhiều so với trước kia.
• Kiểu quản lý người dùng cũng được thay thế bằng kiểu khác dễ hiểu hơn. Một số plugin hay được thêm vào mặc định. Như Askimet - plugin chống spam; WordPress Database Backup - backup lại database mà không cần vào phpMyAdmin.
• Tính năng Import: Mục này giúp người dùng đang sử dụng Blogger hay hệ thống blog nào khác có thể import nội dung blog cũ của mình vào blog mới.
